Lets start off with your Enter Page, your Enter Page isn't advertising anything which is nice. Or else others will go click on links before they can even enter your site. There is really no point in an enter page. But its alright. I have enter page's in MOST of MY sites. :P lol! Anyways, I love the enter page blend. I'll move on now...
First Impression
My first impressions are "Its okay" because You're site is ok, because, the enter page is a bit plain....when I entered your homepage your site was really nice! The layout looks nice! I see you credited Laura, who made it. I know her site but others might not. So in my opinion you should write her site. Something to make the page look a little more professional is add navigation blocks, use HTML, etc.
Layout/Coding
You should link effects. I love the layout, I already told you about the crediting, thats all really, unless, you upload your layouts on photobucket, Tinypic, Imageshack ETC and you could download some blend making program www.vejc.piczo.com might have some so you can .make your own layouts, or youcould always use paint.

you dont use workds like "wot" "2" "u" which is nice. Leave those words for MSN.
Conclusion/Summery
I like your site, just sort the background colours out a little and the enter page.It needs some organising but at least you tried there!
